Can a sapphire 5850 use afterburner to adjust voltage?

hey guys please clear this up for someone please, they are telling me that a sapphire card hd5850 with the stock bios cannot adjust the voltage unless i flashed it with a msi or asus bios!!, I had two sapphire hd5850 as well my sapphire hd5870 and i was able to use afterburner to adjust the voltage, can some one else please verify this for him

I think all you gotta do is go into the cfg file and change Enable unofficial overclocking = 1

lol any card with the volterra controller, all 5850, 5870, most 5770 and some other controllers as well will work in afterburner.
