Can anyone help me figure out what is going on? When I play games it feels like I am almost slowing down or having a disconnects with the game.

Much of the issues come from playing E-sports titles such as League of Legends and Rocket League. These issues also happen when I am offline and not connected to the Wifi. I have no idea how to explain what happens besides the games feeling clunky and almost unresponsive. It feels like there is a disconnect in how the game flows.

My system specs are GPU- RTX 3070
Motherboard Gigabyte B450M DS3H WIFI-CF
Cpu AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core processor.
Ram DDR4 30000. 32, Gb ram
Monitor AilenWare 1920x1080 AW2720HF 27 inch 1 ms
Driver version 461.40

If anyone has any idea, please let me know. If I can't figure this out, I am just going to quit gaming in general.

Try setting vsync to fast in the nvidia control panel. In addition, limiting frame rate to a few below your monitor max refresh rate may help.

Ok, I did it I will keep you updated on how it goes but I also had this issue on my old card ryzen 5600 and at the time I thought it was the GPU but when I upgraded the same issue keeps happening so I also upgraded the Ram but sadly no luck.

Ok, so after playing a game I can say this helped but did not fix it entirely

when you mention slowdown, is it when you press a key and it responds slow or your fps count is low?

So like first, I have to apologize when giving this explanation because I know how crapy and little info this provides, but it is just the overall feel of the game like. For example, I am playing league, and I go to auto. It feels like my character is slower to auto and it comes across choppy, if that makes any sense, almost like there is some kind of delay, and it is taking longer for my character to perform said auto-attack on mion. So it really is just the overall feel I mean I am on an rtx 3070 and 240 Hz monitor I feel like things should feel more smooth. Also, one thing I notice is when I start out in-game I am pushing around 500 frames but as the game goes on I drop to around 155 frames and stay there I have the setting set to uncapped so IDK why it keeps dropping the way it does.
Either way thank you so much for the quick reply I am sorry I did not see this sooner.

OK, I am downloading MSI afterburner do you want me to post the results of the games here or no? Also, I have Nzxt will this program also suffice in what you are needing?

Ok, so after playing with this, I set it back. It makes the game feel a little too fast-paced and, in turn, makes it hard to control my character. Do you possibly have any other suggestions.?

make sure Power plan is set to Maximum performance in Nvidia control panel
if your monitor isnt Gsync, try disabling Vsync entirely.
Enable threaded optimization, disable ambient occlusion.

My power supply is a bronze 600 it actually came with the computer this is the computer I got originally it was 200 dollars off so when I moved back from Japan instead of building one I opted for more of a pre-build instead. and have added ram SSD and new graphics cards to the build.

Yeah my monitor says it supports

AMD FreeSync)

here is a link to the monitor I have.

Side note this is the pc I bought since then I have added the new GPU and ram. Also a 1TB SSD

Should try logging your fps. See if there's issues with frame times.

So I did the performance thing, but when I disable Gsync, the game feels very stiff and not comfortable to play with.

HDD=Defrag time!
I have 3 SSD

Yeah I ended up doing this after the other guy asked me to log them here they are.

windows will defrag for you
I catch it not defragging when it should and it has the nerve to cheat, falsely claim it don't need defrag, but it does!

it only needs to defrag when you write big chunks of data to the disk
so mabye after installing a game
but if you files are static it never will have to

But I find I have to click on it often, regardless of how many writes I do! So, it's best to manually start a defrag after you have stuff the way you want it to be! Just like I do with trim on SSDs.

I have never done something like this, what is the best way to do something like this?

That power supply looks terrible
Come on man don't roast my power supply lmfaoo

i

t has a gold rating it should be fine
So actually, I think the power supply is bronze. At least the last time I pulled it out that's what it said for me.

I can go gold rate a turd, doesn't mean it's any good.
So do you think the issue lies within the power supply? then?

Maybe try running LatencyMon. It might make the issue easier to find.

I haven't noticed too much of a change after defragging.

I will give this a shot. Where is the best place to download this?
"LatencyMon."

Should try logging your fps. See if there's issues with frame times.
Sorry, I am still a little new to this kind of thing. What is the best way to do this? Again thank you all for all the messages; it really means more than you can imagine. I genuinely appreciate you guys helping me out, especially since I am just a random stranger.

If it makes it easier and I am taking a while to respond, you can always send me messages on discord. But whatever is easier for you guys is fine with me.
That being said, I am super grateful for all of your guy's help; I really do appreciate you all taking your time to look into this with me.
