there are some sinks with 80mm fans, or even larger using a fan adapter. If you can mount it to your heatsink it should be fine.

hmm what do u mean exactly?
I cant put a new heatsink on my mb cos there isnt any room for a bigger one. So i have to keep my current heatsink & get a 60-80mm fan adapter so i can put a quiet 80mm fan on top of the heatsink.

I can find 80mm fans on their own but they say they are case fans not cpu fans. if u get me

Doesn't matter, you can even rip them from old PSU's or something. The only possible problem is reading the fanspeed in that case. Though even the ones sold as casefans have a 3rd pin for that stuff. You can safely use any fan, as long as it moves enough air around to cool your cpu.

Oh ok i see, so in short a case fan is ok.

What kind of rpm & cfm should i look for?

I wouldnt want to get a case fan for it then to find my temps have shot up!

Not sure, most stores don't even mention.
Though usually a 80mm is able to move more air than a 60mm. "usually"
Seeing that a fan costs a few euro's it won't be that much of a risk :)

30cfm is what most 80mm fans do, most 60mm fans do 18-24cfm. Either one should be adequate. Personally I like high performance fans. Most of mine do 70cfm+.

Hmm thats alot of cfm they tend to be that high on 120mm fans.
Can you check this for me & say if it would be ok for acting as a CPU fan
