Can I get thoughts on this build before purchasing? RTX 4090 | i9 13900KS

too many assumptions your making of me here kid lol .. just becuase I don't know much about RAM, doesn't mean I can't build my own PC. I replaced my whole PSU / Motherboard and almost every component you can think of. So, yes 100% when it's time to upgrade, I'll be doing it all myself ... I'm just not with the custom water cooling for other reasons, and I can't get to OC the 13900KS, simply I won't, but I'll still have the latest peice of tech on the market, and I'll keep upgrading to the latest as needed!

Are you still here to ask for "system builders' advice", or......? Because it seems like you've been pretty dead set on just about every part selection since page 1 and oddly defensive over every piece of advice.

If you're still at the step of being scared about water leaking and have to ask "how hard is changing my coolant" then custom water is probably not for you. Generally when someone wants to get into custom loops they take a lot of time debating and planning their layout and part selection, and when it comes to putting things together things don't always go according to plan.

No one's stopping you from getting a prebuilt loop from a system integrator, but loops require at least a fluid change every year (for general good practice). If you're just gonna leave it as is, you'll find out pretty quickly that custom loops are not a one-time purchase but an ongoing commitment.

It's the same deal with the 13900KS - no one's stopping you, but if you have zero preexisting knowledge of how core and mem OCing on LGA1700, you really are neither the 13900KS' target audience nor are you poised to take advantage of what it offers. Safe to say 13900K offers you everything you want for less.

I have my doubts honestly at this point. When you ring up Cyberpower, they will just tell you to put the originally memory back in. Seriously though, the memory speeds your trying to reach with 4 DIMMs is quite hard for those who know what they are doing and generally aren't using safe daily voltages. I was actually trying some attempts today. I know 4x 7200 is out of the question for me. Doesn't even post.

I mean I can ask my PC builders to install me a custom water loop, it's only $10 more than the CORSAIR iCUE H170i ELITE 420mm on their website. A CUSTOM water loop for only $10 more? Newsflash - that's got to be the cheapest fucking custom loop ever - cheap tubes, plastic fittings, shitty pump, etc. Newsflash 2: a truly custom water loop sure as hell isn't a mere 10 dollars more than an over-priced AIO, especially if the person buys top quality parts. Then it's more like $100's more than an AIO.

However, I might just get the 13900KS with a regural AIO and if overclocking is going to give me a very high temps, then still at the end of the day I got the latest tech in my build.

So this "boutique" you mention is just....Cyberpower? I'd trust the Geek Squad at Best Buy to build my system before Cyberpower - and that isn't saying much!

Oh, I'm not going to make fun of your build -- it's a very powerful, high performance rig, no question. But ONLY in experienced, capable hands. You've clearly got no clue WHAT you're determined to get yourself into. I believe somebody already said it best when they likened you to somebody who just passed their driving test and wanted to buy a Ferrari, without having a lick of knowledge about the finer points of driving nor the power of the car itself -- just that "it's the best" and they craved dem sweet bragging rights.

All I can say is you're one of those people with more money than knowledge or sense - the exact type these halo products tend to suck right in. Just don't come back here freaking out about the problems you're definitely going to have with this beast, when several very knowledgeable here clearly pointed out to you the difficulties of trying to control so much power and heat.

I never said said I’ll do 4*7200 .. that why I came here for advice. And I got all the info I need, so it will be 32gb 7200 ..

So, let me be honest! I came here for advice, specifically on DDR5 and RAM in general since I lack a lot of knowledge the RAM area! Answers started great and very informational and I do thank the some of you who added a lot to my knowledge base. However, all of a sudden I found people getting into my pocket, and unprofessionally even mocking what I'm capable of doing with the build! Without knowing me at all lol. So, allow me to properly introduce my current build to the ones who are running their mouth all over this forum!

CASE: Thermaltake View 51
MOTHERBOARD: MSI MPG Z690 EDGE WIFI DDR4
CPU: Intel® Core™ i9-12900K Processor
MEMORY: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16
GPU: GeForce RTX™ 3090 24GB GDDR6X - GIGABYTE GAMING OC

2 Things to make clear I guess:

1. This WAS an older build, in which I reinstalled all of the above components in myself PSU/MB/CPU/RAM/AIO/GPU/SSD&HDD

   and this is the overclocking of my 12900K, shared on this very same forum back in 07/21 .. Which I actually improved further and tested further and further, all 100% Stable. I have now at: 5.1ghz P-Cores & 4.1ghz E-Cores @ 1.23Volts LLC5. Prime95 12hours , Cinebench23 , IntelBurnTest Extreme , with many thanks to the Kraken Z73 which helped me make this happen.

Back to the point, I was going to order the new components I'll get from CyberPowerPC and rebuild them into this ThermalTake View 51, then changed my mind, wanted to sit back have someone hold my beer, you feel me?

You get what you give. You got plenty of DDR5-specific advice and why the best achievable speeds on 13th gen won't be achievable if you just go adding sticks, because IMC load is a thing. @ir_cow is our resident board and DDR5 reviewer, so if their honest technical advice is repeatedly not good for you, perhaps you might be better served looking elsewhere.

Not only that you have no information to offer, you're also talking !! Useless, waste of space really.

I have done some cleanup here and copied your post into the OP, and there is still plenty of useful info here, but I guess you choose not to see what you don't want to see. If this is the attitude you plan to take, we can call it a day here.
