What resolution are you playing at? Just getting a new monitor will not get rid of the "jaggies", only way to get rid of them is to play at higher resolutions, and even then, you will still have them but they will be less noticeable.

chances are thats your max resolution for your crt, am i right?

so you should prob get a 20 ish screen with either 1600/1200 , 1680/1050 or better yet 1920/1200 if you can afford it for a reduction in jaged edges, however like supre said it wont get rid of them compleatly.

( i hated my crt @ 1200x1000 reso for the same reson, jaged edges)

Well then if you really want to decrease the jaggies then just get a new monitor with a higher res.

And I play my games at the same res and I really don't notice them that much.
