Can this cpu work in this motherboard?

Hi,I dont know much about computers and i need help on this..I want to know if this cpu will work in this mobo..On intel's website its saying that it may be compatible..Here is the like so you can look over it and tell me if its compatible

Your need to cross reference the board revision and Bios version with that list to confirm compatibility
is this a board in your possession or are you planing to buy one

It would seem as long as you have the 2.66GHz E6700 and not the 3.2GHz version it is compatible.
