The GPUs yes, the fake card no. I posted the photo but got no replies for some time, so I went to a larger and more general hardware forum. After establishing the card wasn't a fake, I asked the same question about recommendations. I also did on Steam forums. If I did anything wrong, I apologize, but I honestly fail to see how. Anyway, the mods here and there are free to delete both threads, along with my account. Thanks, everyone.
Nope Nothing wrong. It happens quite a lot. Not everyone on every forum reads every thread let alone answer them.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)

LOL, cross forum posting isn't a terrible thing, but it is helpful for ALL involved if you at least link back to where it was asked before. This way anyone at the other locations are able to see whatever suggestions were already made. It prevent us volunteers who are helping (for free) to not waste our time suggesting things already said, as well as not waste your time having to read suggestions you've heard from other users at different locations. Its just less confusing when it does happen that links are posted to the other sites to prevent confusion. It is simple forum etiquette. :)

1. It can create a far bigger mess for you!
Conflicting troubleshooting steps from different forums create confusion and could even make things worse. If we're trying to help you untangle a mess, someone else from another forum changing things at the same time can really create chaos!

2. It wastes the time of those trying to help.
Imagine you ask a question on 2 different forums (i.e. here and the Adobe forums). Person A finds it on Forum A, stops what they're doing, spends a little time checking a few things in order to answer. But while they've been doing that, Persons B&C find it on Forum B, who also stop what they're doing and spend a little time checking a few things in order to answer. Eventually Person A comes back and whoever gets to them first gives them the answer. The issue? The other 2 people who were so willing to help have wasted their time. Or you get 2 conflicting answers!! And then if the same people are frequenting both forums, which is often the case is such a specific area of discussion such as Lightroom, then they're also wasting their time reading it in both locations, and the conversations in both locations become disjointed.

True! But it is not just for those helping..........

Reading a whole thread of previous suggestions takes more time than just posting and is not relevant to experience-based suggestions such as 'I had XXX, and I enjoyed it. I also had YYY and didn't enjoy it.' And if more people suggest the same thing, it basically counts as +1; there is no need to add 'Like Mike said before me'. And conflicting answers are just simply different opinions about the same subject, which is perfectly normal. Anyway, thank you for the good times at OCForums, and it was 99.99% good, but I simply can't continue incurring comments like that — which are not even productive or relevant but simply an occasion to complain about something and berate someone — whenever I post something, even when I do so outside of OCF(!) like in this case. So please consider my account with OCF terminated/abandoned and please leave me free to post as I see fit in other forums, and the both of us will be happier for it. Unless you're a mod here at TPU, I'd ask you to stop trying to moderate me simply on the basis of my being an OCF member (now former member) in a forum that isn't OCF. Done is done, thank you. I also wish to thank other members for their kind help, but in this situation I can't continue the thread, as I'm sure everybody will understand. I ask the moderator to please lock it. Thank you.

I'm not trying to moderate anything here and you being a member at OCF has nothing to do with what happened here outside of the same subject at different sites. I was really trying to help those reading (and you) by sharing the information you have already gone over at OCF so they can focus their time on new information in order to help you. Why you are so against this, I do not know.

You failed to see why cross-posting can be bad (you admitted this) so I shared that information on why people feel that way (it is a rule at some forums, mind you). You don't have to believe or follow it, but I was putting it out there for you to see why people feel that way and how it is helpful to share links that way. :)

I'm not sure why you are taking your ball and going home from OCF/TPU, but, I'm not going to stop you. I wont be happier you are gone... but GL!!!

EDIT: I looked at the threads this year at OCF and have no idea why you want to leave (talking about berating and complaining... I don;t see any of that)...we all did everything we could to help you out!!!
