Just curious what the official road map is, and I don't mean a paper release of June 2018, I mean when can we actually expect 1180 Ti on shelves?

Absolutely not, first is 1180 full 3584 processors, same as 1080 Ti only 256 bit and GDDR6, followed by the big chip as base for Ti in 2019.
There was some rumor about 384 bit GDDR6 chip GPU though.

 Where is this 1180 and 1180Ti talk coming from? You're talking an entirely new series with those numbers,

The last several generations, Nvidia has not begun a new model lineup with top performer Ti models...it's been 80 and 70 models. There is no reason to think they would suddenly change up now.

It is coming from 2 years of 1000 series now to be obsolete by 1100 or 2000 whatever, pretty soon 6 month tops. 40-50% more performance is to be expected.
The first big chips is the Titan XV around Q3 severely cut down version of the Titan Xv, You can totally buy that sometime next year. But Ti version of it only comes much later As there is no need, the regular 80 can milk the cash cows as efficient.

I know the answer, it's sometime, roughly 6-8 months, after the release of the 1180.

Last 2-3 days I searched for information about Volta but I didn't found nothing interesting and worthy of waiting.
Because I like 1080Ti Poseidon and he could become my upgrade from 780Ti.
Because Volta will start with lower model and 6-7 months after that they will show up with successor of GTX1080Ti and insane price.

Expect Volta to not be a revolutionary architecture compared to Maxwell/Pascal, I guess they will simply increase sizes of GPUs to increase performance, meaning, shader amounts. So the 1180 should be a bit bigger than the 1080 and have over 3072 shaders, the 1180 Ti could be almost full size, comparable to GM200 and have about 4500-5000 shaders. /speculation mode

And dates, as usual, mid year 1180 (successor to 1080) and late year maybe Titan Xp successor. Q2 2019 possibly 1180 Ti. Business as usual.

We won't see anything significantly faster than 1080Ti till 2019. Even nvidia themselves won't probably stick to the strategy they developed with kepler and maxwell then pascal, that is matching a previous flagship with the new x70. We might see new 2080 to 1080Ti be like 970 was to 780Ti, slightly faster at launch, then some more over the course of the time. AMD already disclosed what they're planning, a tsmc vega with 4 stacks of hbm2, so they basically told nvidia "we're not gonna beat 1080Ti, not for another year or so". Expect GPU prformance increase to be slow in 2018. Still, even my 1080 cuts it pretty well at 1440p. Good enough for me to skip 1080Ti and patiently wait for the 2080 card with same performance but less power hungry and quieter.

Honestly I think at this current moment in time Nvidia doesn't NEED to release a new card, AMD released Vega and it doesn't really compare with top of the line stuff. I'm expecting its gonna be a refresh of pascal and performance gain well probably enough to sell extra cash maybe 10-15%. Release date well that is unknown at this time maybe spring-summer 2018 id suspect.

Can we expect GTX 1180 ti in June of 2018?

Well i expect your Get it
When you can Afford it
and only when Nvidia Release it for Sale

That will Be
when Sales of Flagship Cards Start to Flag.
If AMD Sales of potential Competitor Cards Eat into Nvidia Sales
If AMD potential Competitor Cards Eat into Nvidia Sales thru Competitive Performance
If Nvidia Stock Price Needs a Boost By the Release of New SKU

Don't Worry news of their Release will Eventualy do the Rounds and make you a happy Camper :)

Pascal already got refreshed through higher memory clock versions. Nvidia will simply bring faster GPUs to sell them as upgrades compared to Pascal. There are always people who want more performance, and as we all know, there is no such thing as "enough performance", we always want possibly more, for either higher resolution, AA or anything else.

There will be a Pascal refresh as Voltage isn't really needed and yeah, AMD didn't do too good on this round.

YES, you can have Volta Ti at that time, if you dont mind with the price ofc. The new Titan Volta is basically early Ti version, so they want you pay a hefty price to get early performance. The real Ti Volta will likely to come out in 2019.

I already explained that more performance is always "needed", or you could go back to use Fermi GPUs, why? Because Pascal isn't "needed". I think lowest settings will suffice, you can still play the games I guess, simply use lowest settings. You also don't seem to get how companies like Nvidia earn money, do you? People can't upgrade from Pascal to Pascal if Nvidia doesn't release anything new. Simple reason why they will. And there will be no "refresh" of a "refresh", nonsense.

That's actually not impossible, nvidia might decide to make a bigger Pascal GPU instead of making a bigger Volta. Depends if Volta has some gaming advantages over Pascal. If it was designed with AI/datacenter in mind only then they can just make bigger Pascals with DDR6.

I think it will have a advantage in DX12, it is pretty likely to be the case. A bigger Pascal? That's not how Nvidia is doing things. They usually are a innovative company. And a bigger Pascal wouldn't help too much, it's maybe a tad faster - but why spend lots of millions on re-designing a bigger Pascal when you can do the same with Volta? See? You're making no f sense.
