I have the Z87 G45 Gaming motherboard and I cant acces the bios. If i boot, the keyboard loads too late: when windows screen is coming. I tried a very simple keyboard which should be plug and play in a 2.0 port. Is my motherboard broken? Maybe I do need to reflash my Bios?

Specs:
i5 4670k - planning to oc today
2x GTX 660 Ti
Z87 G45 Gaming
2x4 GB ram
AX 860i

grab a cheap PS/2 keyboard and it'll work every time. a USB to PS/2 adaptor might also do the trick.

I find that this will happen when legacy USB support isn't enabled in the BIOS.

Sounds like a catch 22. I would use a USB to PS/2 adapter then double check your BIOS settings.

this is exactly why i keep a PS/2 Microsoft keyboard around, had it since 2003  but just about every new build i do, or BIOS updating usually requires me to use the ps/2 board. They should be cheap as heck to buy these days too.

Yep, under $10!!! Got one a couple years ago, and just recently had an occasion to be looking on Newegg.
