Hi, I've got a Gigabyte HD 3870 reference card, and I can't make any changes with it's fan. I use the transfer function, which is a recommended one, also set all fan settings to recommended values, but after flashing the BIOS there are no changes, the fan works as before. Have tried on many BIOSes, same problem. Maybe You could help me?

Sounds like the gpu fans speed controller is faulty. Just bypass the speed controller ! Wire the fan direct to the 12volt input socket. Ya gunna need a soldering iron.

Might be abit loud with the fan at max speed all the time but better a noisey gpu than a burning up gpu. ;)

You see, it worked just fine with some fanfix BIOS I've flashed before, but I want to use my cards original one. So I think it's something with the BIOS, or not?
