take alook at the clocks reached on what cooling, the 9450 tops out at 4.3GHZ on extreme cooling, the qx6850 reaches 5.71GHZ onthe same method of cooling and tops out at 5.75GHZ.

It really is night and day.

and for kicks here's the q6700's

That looks good to me.

as you said most of the Q9450's dont hit 4 and they apearently dont. And the QX hits almost all of them on the page showed more than 4.

take a look at hwbot's qx6850's and the 9450's

yeah, I'd like to see some links also. With the 12 mb l2 cache and only needing 340 mhz OC to equal the qx6850's clock speed, I'm would think the q9450 can keep up with the qx6850.

The Q9550 is $339 so im going to sell the QX unless you peeps strongly advise against it.
