Hi there, I am new to techpowerup forums but since the issue I have is with the database of BIOS files here, I thought it fitting to ask my question here.

My specs.
Gigabyte 990fxa-UD3 motherboard (EDIT: Revision 4.1)
2x MSI 2gb-GDDR5 7850 OC in crossfire (NOT power edition, the single fan version)
AMD FX-6350
2x WD Blue 1tb HDD

I'm running windows 7.

I posted this additional information for posterity sake. The issue I am having is that I cannot find the specific BIOS for these cards, I CAN find the BIOS for the 1gb version of these cards, and the power edition of these cards (Which are VERY similar), but not a specific BIOS for the 2gb version. I'm updating my BIOS to try and solve a really annoying issue hopefully, which is a totally other topic.

Does the 1gb card share the same BIOS? Can I use it?

Have you tried to contact MSI support and have them send you a new bios for your card ?

Maybe you misunderstood the question.

I'm trying to flash the BIOS on these cards to a newer version, which there has to be since the BIOS version on these cards currently is stock.

Maybe you misunderstood his answer. If you want the BIOS and you can't find it on TPU Database, your best bet is thru MSI Support.

Flashing a 2GB card with 1GB or vice-versa.. Is not recommend... Increases your chance of bricking the card.
