cant flash Asus 3080 bios update to enable resizable bar

I have an Asus RTX 3080 OC and a X570 dark board. I am trying to enable resizable bar. I've managed to update the x570 and enable the bar but for the life of me, I CAN NOT update the gpu bios. I've tried even in safe mode. I actually got a message no need to update in safe mode. In any other variable, I get an error message. I've tried to use NVflash but when the window opens, It says hit ENTER or Q to quit but any clicks of the keyboard and the screen scrolls then exits. I've contacted Asus and for weeks i keep getting someone worst than the last.....lol. I am using latest Nvidia drivers and Windows 10 Pro 64 latest 20h2 . I have a dual bios as my card has the performance and quiet switch. I've even tried the other modes but still same outcome no matter what the switch is on to. Some suggest my OS is corrupt and that I should perform a reformat of the OS.

I figured I would give NVflash a go 1st before I reformat but I can't get that to go either... Plz help!

i found zero benefit from BAR. i can however, find serious risks in bios modifying. i think its important you understand the risk/reward factor here, for what amounts to nothing.

its like risking great sacrifice for a stick of gum

maybe try this guide?
even the type of formatting you have on your storage drives matters. GPT/MBR. read all of the guide, hopefully you'll find an answer

I think I've read the quote thing bout resizable bar over 15x. To confirm I am running uefi.

Do you think I can put the card into another system to see if I can update the GPU bios?

Have you tried running the tool as administrator in Windows 10? If no try.

Other then that if it's a official bios from Asus they properly also provides a flash tool with instructions.

Many times i have tried that.. I've contacted Asus and for week's now I keep getting minimal advice.. before I try NVflash, I was thinking of placing the gpu in another system to see if I can apply the gpu bios update

seems like I'm not the only one with issues.....I want to manually flash it but Im too scared....
