212F = 100C
If a component is reaching 100C, it is well into trouble.

It's an older laptop that runs hot. It does have its own an auto shutdown, which kicks in well above RealTemp's reading of 220. I don't know how accurate that reading is, since I haven't calibrated RealTemp to this laptop.
I'm mainly using RealTemp to keep an eye on the general temperature.

Manually adjust your tjmax to make your temps seem lower.
