A friend of mine last weekend tied the knot, got married, and his/her family gave them a 42" 1080p LCD TV. Well, he's a big flight sim player and wants me to bring my system across the hall so he can try it out on his TV to basically see if he wants to build a nice PC or go and pickup a PS3 and/or Xbox 360. I told him he has to try Flight Sim X out first then play what other games I have(Gears of War, COD 4, MVP 05(08 mod), and some F.E.A.R. for his wife since she likes the scary shit!

Sweet! But the post didn't really have much to do with the second 3870X2. Make sure to post performance changes here. We would be interesting on hearing on the change.

The other day a good customer bought a 4870 and wanted us to install it. Did the routine and ran 3dmark06 on his system, E6550 @ 2.3Ghz, 3Gb DDR2-800; his score was 10,976 which Futuremark showed was under the standard score that had a system with a E8400 but not sure about the ram. I had a 3870 crossfire setup but right now I'm happy getting the 2 card performance out of one and soon will be over satisfied, hopefully, with 2 of these beast! Let me run some 3dmark06 on my temp system and I'll let you know. Temp system is this:

Athlon 64 X2 6000+ @ 3Ghz
ECS KA3-MVP Xtreme(crap board)
2Ghz Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 @ 5-4-4-12 and DDR2-750( settings due to motherboard limits)
Seagate 500Gb 16mb 7200RPM SATAII
750W Nspire
XP Media Center Edition 2005

If wondering this is a build of old parts I'm doing for a friend of mine minus the video card.
