Case fan setup / air flow question

I haven't cleaned my main rig since 3 or 4 years. I recently had to open it since I was troubleshooting a friend's pc and I didn't have another PSU at my hand at that time. I tell you something... There was no dust inside the case at all. Am I doing something wrong? :roll:

Usually is good to have 2@front intake 1@back exhaust 1@top exhaust but depends the case config.

you ether maximimize airflow or you choose dust free and filters.. you cant do both..

me.. i settle for minimum fan usage (an ideal would be all fans off unless needed) no filters and give the case a good blow our with compressed air as and when it needs it.. but that is just my choice..

All I can say is if you choose your fans carefully and do it by the numbers (in vs out), with temperature monitoring to ensure you still have good airflow, you can and should use filters.

My temperatures stay very cool, airflow is great, and noise is not bad either...with filters.
