Hi all,
I've just finished new build with one question left.
As title says, I have front usb 3.0 on my case (CM Storm Trooper), double cable with 20 pins connector.
However my mb (Gigabyte Z590) has 3.2 Gen 1 header with 20 pins but last one is NO PIN.
So as those two differs, should I feel safe plugging it in and is it compatible with each other?
That looked fishy to me so I left it unplugged for now.
Thanks in advance.

Pictures would be helpful, I think it’s fine usb is backwards compatible, so you’ll only get 3.0 speeds on those USB ports in the front

Thanks for reply, I saw it kinda late. It is working now. I plugged it in but I had another struggle. That 20 pin connector won't go all the way in, even with decent force applied, some wiggling etc. So I left it plugged with a little gap, but it's working perfectly so I guess that's only what matters.
