Specifications for that motherboard classify it as mATX. If you say it's slightly smaller, you know any mATX should work. Itx cases tend not to offer extra space for the board when looking at compact offerings in that segment.

Scroll past the phone cases. Those first few cases fit the requirements.

Thanks for the reply

I get what you're saying but its smaller then a standard mATX motherboard, and mATX cases cost more then the mini itx cases i was looking at, for example some cases like the Nzxt H210 which has 2 pci slots in theory it should fit i just want o be 100% sure it does before i make and purchase. this why i need expert advice

I can assure you that your motherboard will NOT fix in an NZXT H210. I own that case. I also own an NZHT H1 (discontinued version 1) and this motherboard won't fit in that case either.

As sneekypeet commented, the H210 case does not have any extra room below the PCIe connector on a micro-ITX motherboard. Moreover the PSU shroud in the H210 is very close to the bottom of the mobo and only 2-slot graphics cards will fit in the H210. There is very little clearance.

It is highly unlikely that anyone here has the schematics memorized for all of the mini-ITX cases on the market so it's up to you to do your due diligence during research.

I suggest you purchase from an honest merchant with a reasonable customer satisfaction/return policy. Another option is for you to look at physical cases in a bricks-and-mortar computer store.

That said, I suggest you focus your attention on micro-ATX compatible cases.

I also own a SilverStone PS15B case which is micro-ATX compatible. It's not a particularly thrilling case from an aesthetic standpoint but it is large enough for your motherboard.

I aprecate your feedback, and yes i am not looking for anything fancy just a media/download pc, also i will be using this pc more often so i am not wearing out my main gaming pc,

As for specs for this media pc is Amd 10 7860k apu will being the onboard grapics with 16gb of ram, and a 1tb hard drive hook up to my other 144hz monitor

So yea correction this motherboard is very close to itx size its 6.9 inches long by 6/7 inches wide, a standard itx board is 6.7 x 6.7

So i think you're right i guess i will look for a matx case that supports my corsair vs550 standard size psu

For $90 you can get a pretty great atx case, rather than an average mATX case, but the PS15 isn’t bad.

Just check what newegg has.

I apprecate the helpful advice but first off i am in Canada and newegg charges a lot for shipping compared to u.s customers, and i don't believe in buy anything from newegg from all there scams going on, but i do go there as a reference etc, and another thing my board does not fit all Mini-ITX cases, thus is why i am created a post

for the record itx motherboard size is 6.7 x 6.7
my board is 6.9 x 6.7
micro ATX mothersboards size is roughly 9.6 x 8.7

so i hope you get my point, its all about the extra 2 inches longer as to rather it fits the case or not, not all itx cases are made the size

You can look for mini-dtx cases, but they’re pretty hard to come by. They’re typically sold as ITX cases with three PCI slots. You could probably get away with a lot of itx cases if there’s enough clearance below the second slot, but YMMV.

Some of these are listed as supporting dtx, but many don’t:

Hey Caes finally someone understands my problem now lol ty man for the advice

as for you guys got to remember this motherboard i have came out of a oem Asus prebuilt so its not a retail board and its got a odd ball size

Well that's the case I mentioned in my previous post.

It's clear that it's time for me to bow out of this discussion.

Best of luck.
Thanks for trying man, but those cases cost more, and you clearly missed my point that my board is so close to itx board, and for matx boards there way bigger 9.6 x 8.7 i dont need a case that big

Just get a MATX or HTPC case that supports MATX.

My Case Supports Matx lol
Thanks dude for the terrible advice lol

With respect, you’re not going to get a lot of help being so dismissive. @cvaldes literally recommended the case that you then linked to. You initially seemed to welcome the advice and then suddenly became dismissive, which doesn’t exactly endear people to help sorting through cases for your odd situation.

I also own a SilverStone PS15B case which is micro-ATX compatible. It's not a particularly thrilling case from an aesthetic standpoint but it is large enough for your motherboard.

Part of the reason this is so difficult to parse is because a) there are very few mATX cases on the market, making them expensive, and they’re often as large as compact atx cases and b) there are even fewer DTX cases on the market, and they’re usually expensive due to the unique tooling required to manufacture them.

Best of luck, happy to help how I can, but I honestly can’t think of a decent dtx case off of the top of my head that’s less than $100 USD.

Edit: just remembered the ATX PSU, which makes it even harder. I saw the ML07 is $100 on Amazon, but you’ll need to change the PSU.

I am sorry if you think i came of as dismissive, I am new to these forums, and only made a new account for some helpful adivce, and what this about dtx never heard of this form factor

And yea i only have a standard szie Corsair VS 550 watt psu, That's only a year old so findinng a case to fit my psu will be tough, and ty so much for the help

Board width is 7.2"

Use this as a Reference, it is a FlexATX/MATX, not ITX.

Do you have a standard motherboard for reference? If not there are dimensions in the manual for most online you can reference (or use the link in the post above), check the distance between the screws it should conform to a standard pattern I don't believe there are any motherboards that don't conform to one of the standard case standoff points.

I'm in Ontario and I buy from newegg all the time, but if you don't like them there's memoryexpress, amazon, bestbuy or canadacomputers.
