How can I get the small scratches in my (acrylic?) side panel?
A part came loose inside the case during shipping and made a lot of scratches.:confused:

Buy new plexi :cool: You will not be able to get that out. Unless, you can take a clear epoxy liquid and lay the panel flat on its side and carefully pour some on the scratch and let it dry, but thats just an idea.

It doesn't seem like it would work with a clear plastic. Give it a shot though who knows, there are some eyeglass repair things on the tv that seem like they work, but like everything sold on TV, prob not.

I found out the seller will reimburse me for the damage.The case is a new Kandalf LCS.
The thermaltake site shows a replacement panel,but with a HUGE fan in it:ohwell:
I want to be able to see the new stuff I plan on buying for it, not some honking fan:mad:

try that stuff they sell for repairing plastic eyeglasses
they sell it at savon and stuff..
i used it for a gameboy sp and it worked pretty good

small scratches come right out with regular automotive car wax.

medium scratches will disappear with clear arcrylic spray paint, but it may yellow after a year or so but you wont be able to repaint it with clear again.


if you give it some thought and planning you can cover the worst spots with a decal maybe.
