omfg need links!! i hope they fixed the NWN 1 issue i know its the old game but its been hit or miss since the 9.10's from 9.10 to 10.2 with the exception of the 10.1's the game simply crashes i dont like running old drivers. Thats why im kinda sad i got rid my GX2's nvidia never had a problem but this game has had issues since my 9800pro. sigh i really love this game.

I've been running 10.3a 8.71.3-100205a-095620E for some time now and been great to be honest although DX10 \AA scaling issue's still there but some require AA to be on to get rid of scaling issue and one game actually requires it off while running DX10 lol.

The specs are like that due to Nvidia's 3D Vision technology as without a nvidia video card you cannot run Nvidia's 3D Vision.

Although maybe they should of said it runs one ATI hardware but the spec box on the box is only so big.

Ever thought they might not of tried any ATI gear LMAO ?.. For what ever reason that would be ^^.

Lets face it nvidia do pay for their crap to be put in games.

While I don't care too much it could be a fun game although it could be another multiplatform fail. However whenever a game is announced with the recommended specs listing a GPU that's (at the time) not even in existence yet I know it going to run like ass on most current hardware. I'm predicting my system will pull 15FPS @1920 with max detail and that's being generous.

Back to 10.3a....

I'm pretty dissapointed that we're not seeing Bad Company 2 listed as having any optimizations. I know the game is 30% FUBAR but it's one of the hottest games being played and has sold more 5xxx series GPUs for ATI this season than any other title.

Not my problem. If they want me to buy their game they need to make sure that they market and it works properly for both video cards. I honestly care less about your thoughts on their relationship with nvidia.

Back at the ranch, Cat 10.3a should be released sometime today. Because they are not the official release drivers it's unclear of the delivery system. Keep an eye out on that underground website for a possible update.

As soon as the desktop driver is up, I'll let ya know. Obviously notebook users can go right ahead and give 'em a go.

Link shouldn't have even been posted till the driver was live, IMHO, but really, I think it shouldn't have been publicized like it was until it was ready for download either. Terry should have posted the driver, and only then should it be hyped like it has been...lots of unhappy people, impatient people waiting now...

And obviously many are having issues, for this to be of such importance. Good to know I'm not alone. :laugh:

Unfortunately for you there is no case made in stating this. Stating a API, developer, type of game, etc doesn't compensate for the information found in the recommended system specs. :slap:

. If they want me to buy it they must clearly indicate that they support the hardware I use (equitably to other hardware), bottom line. Anything else is trivial.
