ATI 10.5 BETA leaked? Why wouldn't they leak the 10.4 which is suppose to hit around mid April? Why would they just skip the 10.4, doesn't make any sense. I don't know....

Maybe because you normally don't get to say what is leaked and what is not?
A leak is (supposed to be) unintentional by definition. Otherwise they'd probably leak 10.3 stables, relabeled as 10.13 drivers, just to mess with ya.

10.4 drivers were already "leaked" by official sources...10.3a and 10.3b...on the AMD website.

Since they did that, I'd not download any BETA drivers unless they come from the AMDUnderground website.

its not a planned thing in most cases. they work on several version builds at the same time and that set is based on what 10.5 could contain

*Note, these haven't been tested. I'm happy with my drivers. I just play WoW and BF BC2, Which both run smooth. No need to install till official release

thanx for the benchies but i see a couple issues perhaps you could work out.. I installed the cat 10.5's on my g/f's rig and the driver says 10.5.. not 10.3

They are BETA driver's they won't say 10.5 yet until fresh release.

But yea, 10.5 isn't cutting it for me right now. I will wait till CatalystMaker makes the official 10.5a...BFBC2 is taking a poop on me right now...

Back to 10.3b !!

Terry (Catalyst Maker) Mykeldon on these drivers: http://twitter.com/CatalystMaker/statuses/11651731399

Not good, but they do work as I currently have them installed. After hearing this, I'm going back to 10.3a's which are superb.. for me anyways.

I'll just quote myself again.

Only because I got some serious problems with these drivers. Not recommended with 5850 CrossFire. These drivers are most likely an internal leak for a video card we haven't heard of yet. Even with a single card I was getting instability with some games. My screen would darken for no reason, etc. I'm not saying "stay away" because new beta drivers are fun! :) ...this time just not so much for myself.

I'm happy I'm not the only one with these problems
