This is pretty damn bad. Not only were Piriform hacked but the attackers managed to alter their files as kept on their download servers as well? If that is what happened that's a failure on so many levels.

I use Windows 7 and 10. CCleaner hasn't been relative in well over 10 years. If ever. Its a security blanket to most now.

I only use CCleaner to check for unnecessary files/registry entries and do manual deletes.
