Hello all,
I have used RBE to edit the BIOS of a Sapphire HD5750 in order to edit my own fan speeds according to the board temperature.
I have tried it by :
- defining the transfer function,
- changing the look-up table,
- setting all values to recommended,
- leaving parameters from original bios and just change the tmin/tmax/tslope, etc.
- leaving original parameters and changing only look-up table,
successfully flashing each time,
but it did never give me the results I expected : the fan controller was never following the rules I put in the BIOS.
Is there any known bug on Juniper HD5750 bios with RBE ? Has anyone else succeeded in adapting the fan response for this card ? Is there any trick I don't know to make it work ?
(Moreover, when I change the temperature-speed look-up table without putting the 'recommended values' in RBE for other parameters - therefore leaving original bios parameters - and then reload the saved bios into rbe, it tells me that there is no overdrive, while I never modified it)
Thanks,
TheProphet
