Yup, thats me. I just ordered one to take the place of my second monitor and I don't give a damn :rockout:

Its actually 21.6in but I ain't splitting hairs here. This is cheap monitor real estate and that makes me happy. Now I have two budget 22in LCD monitors and its better then having just one!

I have no idea what I just ordered, but if you need a second monitor or just want one for w/e this is a pretty hot deal

Eh, I wouldn't doubt it honestly.... I think I pay like $180 for Dell's 20" wide... Which in all honesty isn't a bad screen, and a 5 year warranty on a single dead pixel to boot!

i bought my westinghouse 19" 1680x1050 for $170 from bestbuy not too long ago.. but total came out to 200~ since i got the 4 year warranty on it for 30 bucks

which lets me just take it directly back to bestbuy and pick-up a new one..

yeah thats it pretty much. i have a dual monitor set up which i do use from time to time. makes things nice. i also have a $100 gift card from last month burning a hole in my pocket and i was waiting for the right thing to put it toward

i've been tired of looking at my old 19in CRT on the side of my desk here. so this will do fine. and i figure i might use it as my primary half the time, too. if its good enough. that way both monitors will last longer. or so goes my reasoning. and my cheapo Dell isn't exactly winning awards for IQ as it is so you never know

AOC are good monitors.

We have lots of them here, and they have been around for ages.

They arent going to be your "Sony" or "Samsung"...but hey, they do the job!

I mean even if it does die down the road, you can probably find the part in it that died and fix it up

UGH... AOC is really a cheap monitor, I hate them, but they seem to last.

Um also notice "VGA" ONLY...
1680x1050 a 15pin MIGHT have enough bandwidth for 30fps...

yeah thats what i figure. when it gets here idk if it will still be on sale but i'll post up and say what my impressions are

i did notice the no dvi thing and i can be a little picky about that, although with my current monitor i don't actually see a difference. but i keep it dvi anyway

the reviews seemed pretty good so i went with that. i think i'll be happy

Should be fine, I just don't see how a company would skimp on the dvi port. I would considor dvi to be the standard now. Oh well its not a huge problem.
