Chieftec unveiled the TASK line of 80 Plus Bronze-certified mid-range PSUs, with seven models built around the 400W to 700W segment (400W, 450W, 500W, 550W, 600W, 650W, 700W). The TASK series bears a mainstream feature-set, including active-PFC, common electrical/thermal safety mechanisms, 120 mm temperature-controlled fans, and compliance with ErP-2013 guidelines. All models feature a single +12V rail design. The 400W and 450W models lack PCIe connectors, the 500W model features one 6+2 pin connector, all other models feature two. All models feature fixed, sleeved cabling. The company did not release pricing or availability information.
