Good, I gamed one close quarters last night for a while and loved it



670 hands down death. We talked about this on teamspeak LOL

I know i just wanted to clarify as we had talked about the 7850. Also is the card i found a good pick or can you suggest a bettere one?

The 670 you have listed is the newer power edition that has more phases and a great choice BTW

ill snag it then thnks. I hope my switch to nvidia is a happy one. my 5850 has been a good card and close friend for a while now. As soon as it comes in, i will have my 5850 up on the FS US page. ~50-75 for it shipped i figure is what Ill ask for it

You will see leaps and bounds over the 5850, I even seen a good improvement with the 560TI I had over my ref 5850.

I really liked how it was a ref card with OC. Ive been using a non-ref card with OC so when it came to tweaking etc, i was disappointed.

Brandon, I saw the vid on newegg with the benchmarks and when they showed Call of Pripyat i was pissin my pants at the numbers. ^_^ OMG my 5850 struggles with that poorly coded game but damn that 670 (just bought by the way) switched sides and ate both their asses (to quote BF Friends).

Mine could theoretically get that high, I had to swap the bios with the 5870 model to unlock the Voltage then I could get above the 765mhz clock they had me at. Bad thing is my cooling was not good enough to keep even a 900mhz stable clock. Maybe if i was liquid. ^_^ anyway i have to leave out for my First stage interview for Toyota Manufacturing Plant. Over an hour away. man my truck blows on Fuel. My truck eats fuel like a starving fat man at a chinese buffet.

2002 Ford Ranger V6 3.0liter automatic. rated for 15-20 C/H but i figure im getting more like 12-15 C/H. @JRRacinFan: about 30 m in ago yeah.

Thanks guys. I know where to go for advice on upgrade components. TechPowerUp!!

I still make upgrade decisions on my own but when it is a big chunk of change or a major part with many vendors and options, I ask the community. People ask me about linux stuff as that is what I promote and run on 2 of my rigs. I ask others for advice as that is what they know. vis a vis. It is a win win for both sides.

now I have Phenom telling me I should have gone with the EVGA FTW card cause the PCB is better or something. Did I screw up and snag the wrong one?
