Anyone following Chris Taylor's video blogs about Gas Powered Game's upcoming RTS?

Kind of like a medieval SupCom.

This game looks like it could have all manner of awesomeness in it.

Video Blog #10 showing the dragon smoking all the little soldiers is hysterical.

The write-up in the last PC Gamer said this will support up to 8 players.
You can do things like slow-cut forests for resources (without clearing it away as a defense) and charge other player's farm fields to chase off the farmers so your opponent's economy collapses.

Could be insanely fun.

They also showed some airports in the tech tree, so i guess there will be progression into the modern era - which is a suck.

I noticed that as well. Then again it could be just a placeholder for whatever structure would create dragons and whatever flying creatures. Perhaps they simply haven't thought of a name for the building yet.

Chris Taylor seems to get wackier by the minute. SupCom 1 is his best game and now he's got some kind of neuro-degenerative disease. That said I'd like this to be good.

Even if the tech tree allows for advancement beyond swords and other medeival things, I think this could be not only great fun, but hysterically funny.

Oh noes !! My F16 fighter got taken out by a catapult. :laugh:

I'm going to keep an eye on this one.

It's being built on the framework of SupCom2, so I would bet money it will work very similar to SupCom2 rather SupCom1.

That said, here's another sad face...

I've been playing SupCom2 a lot trying to learn to like it, but it really isn't as good as the original. I wanted it to be better so badly because I enjoyed SupCom1 very much. Oh well, maybe Kings & Castles will be more... entertaining...
