I used to use uBlock Origin to remove google search suggestion which i hate and find super annoying

I don't know how i did it (many years ago) and i don't know how to do it with something like uBlock Origin lite and other ad blocks

How do i disable it ?

Generally, you just right-click a part of a page and then hit Block Element. You can use the Picker to readjust which element you're targeting, and check out the options at the bottom to set your filter's scope as wide as it'll go without blocking other parts of the page. Example:

I'm on Firefox with this picture, for what it's worth.

Doesn't work in chrome since uBlock Origin is disabled

Does Lite not have the same feature anymore?

Mabye but it doesn't work

Next time you open chrome after having closed it. search (predicted) suggestion is still there

Why do google wanna deside how we wanna search on the www without being able to customize it ?

Can you post a screenshot of the filter menu and the parts highlighted in red, like the one I did? Let us know which element you actually created the filter for as well. Chances are the element names change (would be a classic Google move to put that on a timer...), but I'm seeing the same ones across multiple browsers at least.

Userrules in Adguard Adblocker add www.google.com##.aajZCb

I can't see it on the picture, but that filter sounds correct... What happens if you change it to ##.EyBRub.UUbT9 instead? That's the highest-level one that you can block without blocking other parts of the page, I think.

i don't know www.google.com##.aajZCb does what i want it to do

Bear in mind for this feature to work, cosmetic filtering has to be enabled for the site, check if the eyeball icon has a cross going through it, if it does click it to enable cosmetic filtering on the page.

I don't know what settings they are and where they can be found but i will deal with it if i get any problems or the search (predicted) suggestion comes back
