Chrono delete for rolling threads?

Specifically the game deals thread:

There really only needs to be a weeks worth of posts in that thread because the rest is outdated/useless. Could wiz maybe setup a chrono job on that thread to delete all but posts made in the last week/month?

Maybe not the best idea ever but just a thought.

Been thinking about that as well, and I think it's a good idea.

Why? I'd just start from the last page and work backwards. When posts become irrelevant or outdated, I'd quit.

Because it has 50 pages of dead links/expired codes/expired deals.

Better idea! Why not put that thread in ascending order instead of descending? That way the latest deals are always at the top of the page.

...I suppose that would be confusing.


I use "latest posts" to navigate to threads most of the time and that always takes you to the first post in the thread. It takes two clicks to get to anything useful on the current deals thread.
