codec? help needed multi-colored video ???

    im watching streaming football on the net and its all multicolored im sure its a codec problem but have no idea how to fix it, any ideas ?

    Have you tried uninstalling and installing the latest version of real player? I think it may use the real player codecs.

    cant do i dont use rp and i dont have the codecs installed or vlc :cry:

    Its more than probably not codec but a DRM or WDM update...I hade the same problem on streaming and downloadable vids and the patch fixed it all.

    Just install latest free real player from www.real.com, that's what it recommends from the sopcast website.

    thanks a lot for your speedy reply guys, installed the drm patch, windows codec pack and wmp 11 and rebooted, all is well thank god :rockout: :rockout:

    missed a goal tho :confused: nm :p

    Also for some other people having problems playing streaming video with distorted picture. Try installing winamp you don't even have to start it up but when you try to play those videos that did'nt work before they will probably work.

    One time I spent like an hour trying all these different codec packs and nothing would work and finally after installing winamp the videos worked without even having to start winamp. I guess windows had the correct codec after installing winamp. This codec helped to play video that has pink blue green color distorted
