Hello,
I am confused with a current problem on my PC. Sometimes (every other day or so) when I hit the power button, PC powers on for less than 1 second and nothing happens.
Funny thing is I found a temporary but working solution; which is unplugging the power cord - hitting the power button couple of times and then re-connecting the power cable - works like a charm.
The problem seems to be mobo-psu compatibility, but I'm not sure. Because, after I unplug the power cord and after I hit the power button first time, PC powers on less than 1 second which indicates that there is still some current inside the PC. After I discharge that small amount of current by hitting power button several times, I plug the power cable and voila! everything works great.
What would be the cause of this cold boot problem?
machine specs:
