computer froze up and screen went black

    i was just messing around on youtube watchin stupid stuff and my computer frozze up, everything but the mouse. and then the screen went off and back on. and the vid card is not working right, all choppy when i scrool down a web page, like the drivers are not installed. i havent rebooted to fix it yet. i checked the event viewer and there is a ton of errors saying DCOM???? any ideas?

    Well first of all, restart your computer..then if it still continues doing what it is doing, reinstall drivers..the might have corrupted, which I have never heard of that happening, but I guess it could happen.

    yeah i restarted and all was fine. i just dont know what the DCOM stuff is. it is running fine now, but there are still a ton of DCOM errors in the event viewer. oh well....

    yeah ok, im dumb. after using my head and digging through the registry i found out that it is an error with Mcafee Agent. yeah, im dumb! :)

    and the black screen was prolly due to unstable OC on the vid crd...
