Considering Playstation 3. Need advice.

Well, I am considering buying a PS3 since they dropped in price and are half way reasonable. What are the best games for it? I am talking about platform exclusive games as I have a 360 already. What do yall recommend to get with it?

Killzone 2, MGS4, Motor Storm is good fun, Socom is good (since they fixed the lag on the servers),Resistance 1 and 2 are must owns,Little Big Planet is fun with friends, Uncharted is good, Demon Souls is suppose to be great but doesn't come out in the U.S until october but you can Pre Order it from play asia (i plan on it)

The games i would recommend are

Socom: Confrontation
Grand Turismo 5

and also do yourself a favor and get a wired mic instead of a BT headset, it makes a big difference while gaming

To the OP: The best game, in my view, is GTA IV....purely the amount of time you can play this game makes it such good value for money; aside from the fact its pretty damn hardcore if your into that type of game like I am.

I have a lot of games for it I don't play anymore. I always liked LBP the best, the story is kinda short but you can go back through and collect stuff, playing it with other people IRL and online is so much fun.

With my consoles, I never get THAT many games. I usually run with 5 or 6 of the best exclusive games and the best sports games. Yall have provided an excellent list, thanks for the advice.

i never even really liked killzone and resistance pretty average games only hyped up because they are Playstation exclusives

i think personally killzone 2 was a great story and had loads of action? and resistance 1 and 2 (especially 2) was great big enviorments and online is pretty fun

Has anyone played Wipeout HD for the PS3!

Its THE best PS3 Exclusive game to own. Its not upscaled, its full 1080p and the art behind that game is fantastic. Its made me soooo happy to own a PS3. And I have Kill Zone 2, SOCOM, LBP and more titles but that game has taken up most of my time.

If you haven't picked up Batman yet for your 360, it has some extra material on the PS3 version. I haven't played the demo myself yet, but I hear it's a ton of fun.

Also like said in the 2 above posts, Infamous is great and Heavenly Sword was a release title (or very close to release I can't remember) but it's a very fun game.

Man, I remember the Prodigy track on the original WipeOut. That game and Twisted Metal 2 was the reasons why I got the original PlayStation. WipeOut HD looks AWESOME!
I might pick up a PS3 instead of a new graphics card...

It been said a few times but ill type it again Little Big Planet great platformer and Motor Storm Pacific Rift.

And if you got a decent lcd or plasma then pick up some blueray titles as its a decent player of them.

Got to agree, Little Big Planet is a ton of fun, I don't have Pacific Rift, but I have the original Motor Storm, and there isn't anything to match it, Its just amazing to crash and be able to name the parts flying off your car 1 at a time.

When I had a PS3 I really enjoyed Resistance & Uncharted. Resistance 2 looks very good and Uncharted 2 looks promising

I would like to have a go on Killzone 2 because Ive heard good things about it and I think my kids would love Little Big Planet lol
