turn off cool and quiet and manually set the cpu voltage to 1.375v and see if the issue goes away

also make sure you have the latest BIOS on the mobo the newer AMD chips have a different FID/DID assignment than the older ones

OK thats the latest one which adds"system stability"

Any chance you could post pics of your current bios screen settings and I should be able to help you get it sorted in no time :)

Why are you not listening to cdawall's advice? He is spot on and knows his stuff. With overclocking/system stability, it's good to take it slow and work your way up.

Never mind really, because it crashed within 10 seconds with prime95 at that clock.
The bios is all back to defaults.
Here is the screens you wanted but in text I hope it is good.

OK that sounds like Vdroop which I also get on the board. Thats the reason why I have Loadline Calibration on as it stabilises the voltages big tiime for me. Try the settings I posted.

I was able to input all the settings you posted, it froze in the bios 2 times and is only getting into the bios every other time i turn it on / reset it.
Let's see what happens :respect:
CPU-Z is reporting voltage as 1.380 V, running prime...
and Bluescreen
Restarted and CPU-Z is now reporting voltage as 1.386-.380

At this rate I think I will just RMA the motherboard, CPU, and the cooler, maybe the ram? :banghead:

Hope it works man. Also have you looked at the CPU itself to see if there is anything on it or defective pins?

EDIT - Damn. Unlucky mate....

EDIT 2 - Do you have any of the switches turned on that are on the actual motherboard? If you do, turn them off so they are not lit. They are near the ram.

With regard to freezing in the bios, in my experience that is normally a ram issue.

Well then tomorrow I am just going to have to RMA CPU, MB, RAM, and Cooler, I dont have a month to see which one it is and I don't have any extra stuff to test it.
