Ok, so i got these 2 blue LED case lights that are like cold cathodes, except have LEDs inside the tube. I was wondering, is it possible to plug these in to a Zalman fan controller just for the on/off switch? It has 4 variable speed controllers with knobs and 2 toggle switches for 12v and 5v. The packaging for the light says its 12v so I would only flip the toggle to the 12v setting obviously.

I dont want to power them through the controller like my CPU fan currently is, just use the toggle switches for on/off only. I will power them seperately and plug them into their little inverter box.

Here are the 2 products in case anyone is interested:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Never mind, i tried it out expecting to fry the wires and/or have the LEDs explode but it worked like a charm!

This forum is so awesome, I am able to fix problems, even without someone else helping!

edit: should I thank myself now?
