im looking for a good program that is free of course to convert quicktime videos to wmv , mpg , avi , or all of the above can someone please help

I never got that to work for me, neither on XP or Vista. Just errors all the time and unuseable files

Best one I've found, so far. Read up a little on encoding tho. It's not the most user friendly(not the least, either), so you'll need at least a basic understanding encoding/codecs.
