For 70 bucks, this chassis ticks all the right boxes. Yeah, there are a few choices made that I don't agree with, but again... 70 bucks. And a glass window, which seems to be all the rage nowadays among Fortnite players... I think this model will sell well for CM. Personally I would've awarded it with "Great Value", but that's just me.

What I am a little confused about is why CM decided to offer 2 SKUs of each model - essentially you've got the NR600 with removable 5.25" bay and removable HDD cage, then a model excluding 5.25" and with a fixed cage, and it strikes me as unnecessary; why not just offer the 5.25" model as standard, then sell a front mesh plate that lacks the 5.25" cutout as an optional accessory?

Pretty sure that the mounting holes on the front allow 2x 140mm fans (or a 280mm rad) to be installed there; airflow of such units would be somewhat obstructed though.

Finally: a Molex-to-3-pin-fan adapter! What is this, 2009?

The front gives me ideas.

You can go to HomeDepot and buy filters for less then $5. DIY cut and not worry about dust. Placing the fans inside the chassis instead of outside and using the space between the chassis and the front panel and you got yourself a inexpensive Meshify C with a replaceable filter.

It's the same as my MB530p, only with a cheaper front on it.
Seriously, for a cheapo case, it's pretty good. It is however a pain in the ass from the cable management standpoint. There is not a whole lot of room to work with.
That was my only gripe. If you want a much better looking case, go with the MB530p. It has a nice front with a glass panel and comes with RGB fans for another 20-25 bucks.

I see 7 slots, unless one is hiding somewhere. The review for it's little brother also says 8 expansion slots.

As per the NR400 review, it's a TRRS socket - I/O Panel - Audio In / Out1x 3.5mm Headset Jack (Audio+Mic)

Also, it only has 7, not 8 expansion slots.

for $70, no one can really blame that this is a darn good case. A little disappointing it didn't have support for vertical GPU mounting. If it had one as standard, at slightly higher asking price of $80, it'll be a very competitive mid tower casing in the sub $90 section.

Why would anyone want a vertical GPU mount on a case like this ? vertical GPU mounts only work on water-cooled cards, I wouldn't think anyone with money for water-cooled card will shop a $69 case.

With most cases, the vertical GPU mount is too close to the side panel of the case, so the fans on 2/3 slot air-cooled cards suffocate and the GPU thermal throttles. on the other hand, for water-cooled cards this doesn't matter at all. that's why only cards you should put on that vertical mount are water-cooled cards.

there are more folks out there with aftermarket air-cooled GPUs mounted vertically since those cards are known to be heavy while sagging, potentially ruining the PCIe slots as not many folks have the cash to invest in those fancy reinforced PCIe slots found on high end boards. I don't see the problem whether it's an exclusivity for water-cooled GPUs or not.
