The Cooler Master Mastercase H500M is not simply an updated version of the H500P with addressable RGB fans. Cooler Master has taken the opportunity to tweak the case in almost every area. While this makes it a bit more expensive, the result is like night and day.

"Once swapped, the Cooler Master Mastercase H500M looks even nicer as it now offers glass on all four panels of the chassis." - I don't think that's correct...

Only two 3.5" drives, though. :(

The pins for the 2.5" drives are one of those "it looks good on paper" ideas, don't know why CM didn't just go with the standard slide-in trays that are secured with a screw.

I hate glass, RGBs, shrouds and lack of HDD mounts ... which makes most modern towers a no-buy to me :(

You won't be the last either, I have no idea when this fad will go away, for good!

Still including drive cages for legacy 3.5 drives :shadedshu:
One day people will move on and update to larger SSD's, this will increase useable room internally and make for a neater build.
Not a fan of the top panel overhanging the rear, it makes it look like a panel is missing off the back when viewed from the side.

When I saw the first versions of this case last year, I was kind of excited. But after I saw Steve's (Gamers Nexus) initial review of the H500P, I am not really interested any more. Too much went wrong with the first version.

Um, if you read this review, you'll see that it explicitly mentions that most of the issues are addressed by the H500M.
