Cooler Master wants to join the $150 keyboard market with the MasterKeys MK750. It is a full-size keyboard featuring genuine Cherry MX RGB switches, and to sweeten the deal, Cooler Master has thrown in nearly every feature possible, including a removable USB Type-C cable, magnetic PU leather wrist rest, and more.

After going back and forth, I went with the GSkill KM780R. Same list price as this keyboard, but comes with USB and audio passthrough and macro keys. Plus, Amazon sold it for $90, but that may have just been my luck :D

Thanks!
Personally i like keyboards and mouses, they are my daily interface! :) I always look at the reviews, just in case.
Having had a G15 and G18(?) keyboards, I find todays keyboards terribly boring and un-innovative.

This is shown by this one. More boring and feature-less is impossible and seems a no-brand with a CM sticker. (How strange, because CM makes amazing designed cases). And the led-stripe in front is distracting. I'd rather have the Corsair K195 strip at the top.

Then the USB-C. It is nice, but for using it on a daily basis for the phone it is too hidden! It should not be on the bottom (forces you to turn keyboard upside down) but openly on the back.

I'm not really looking for innovation from an input device, but I do feel we're being charged increasingly more $$$ for the same features.

Well, Roccat and Logi are adding the "magic Surface wheel". Some have a stand for phone/tablet... All of that is nice and promising. Yours has "handlebars" and a "box"... :) Are they being useful enough?

The only extras I need from a keyboard are USB and audio passthroughs. And I got those.

USB is always very nice. But I plug my audio somewhere else (for now). Anyway, the tested keyboard has none of them.

That was my point: less features, same price as the keyboard I got. And I don't see why.
Fwiw, this keyboard right here got a rating well below the KM780. As it should.

From the EAN & UPC info sheet (downloads tab from this page), there are definitely SKUs with MX Blue switches for Europe.

The only 2 things i don't like about this board are that RGB leds cant quite replicate a good white (which isn't really keyboard's fault), and non PBT keycaps, although i like very much the font on them, it's very simple and modern, unlike what most of the other brands use.
