The 1st issue with this headset. And the same issue with the entire line of the Steelseries Arctis series excluding the Pro version of course. The issue is its 20-20,000 Hz frequency response. The absolute minimum spec that should be used at all times with headsets is a Frequency response of 16 - 28,000 Hz.

This is why I returned the Razer Kraken Pro v2 headset and the Steelseries Arctis 5 (2019 Edition) and purchased a new Asus Xonar DGX PCI-E GX2.5 Audio Engine Sound Card and stuck with my 9 year old Steelseries 5Hv2 Headset with a Frequency response of 16 - 28,000 Hz. My 5Hv2 sounds MUCH BETTER versus the Kraken Pro and Arctis 5 with an integrated motherboard sound card lol. Couple it up to my ASUS sound card and its miles better.

Not sure what these companies are smoking, but like I said, anything under "Frequency response: 16 - 28,000 Hz" is a no go for me. Anybody that claims the Kraken Pro or Arctis 5 sounds good hasn't had a great set of headsets B4. As to tell the huge difference in sound quality & clarity.

The frequency response range means nothing lol, what does matter is the actual frequency response and the impulse response which these drivers are completely garbage like all gaming headsets.

Then why does a 10 year old set of Steelseries 5Hv2 headset sound "A LOT" better with old outdated drivers & a less than stellar software suit over the brand new Actris 5 (2019 Edition) with newer drivers & newer software suit. Even the 5Hv2 USB which I own sounds better lol

I used the frequency response because both Kraken and Arctis are identical.
