so I'm building a budget level PC
i3 10100/ i5 10400f
motherboard H410
8gb ram ddr4
a budget level GPU GTX 1650s/2060 at best
1tb WD hdd+ SSD 240gb
( I don't plan to do any overclocking)
I know I should get a better psu's but these two are the best I could pick up in my area anything else is just way too expensive right now or unavailable so I'll have to choose the
the lesser evil, so which one would you recommend me between the two?

According to the LTT forums PSU tier list, it looks like the Corsair VS500 is Tier D, while the CM MWE Bronze V2 is Tier C (although it has a footnote about high ripple issues on very low load also resulting in increased coil whine that has yet to be fixed). I'm by no means a PSU expert, so you may want to defer to someone else's opinion, but on that info alone I would probably opt for the CoolerMaster.

If those were my choices, I would pick the CM too. I'm not a fan of the VS series from Corsair. But also the extra 100W would hopefully mean the CM's fan would not need to spin up as fast and that would (should) result in quieter operation more of the time. I hate fan noise so quieter operation is always a good thing.

Should've checked there first. I've been out of the habit of looking there as from what I understand it's basically dead(?), but with these being older units it's not out of the question for them to be on there
