There is a special tool for pulling that type of screw. A lot of commercial applications use that same type. Not sure where a person can get one though.

maybe you could try a normal srcew driver and go gently, maybe it loosens enough so that you can remove it safely

Ghetto fix :)
Cut the tip off a knackered Screwdriver, ( note it should be hardened steel).
Shape (file or Dremmel ) End of cut screw driver to size.

What about a damaged screw remover, they grip in reverse.

I used a jewelers screwdriver as a chisel to loosen, then it was easier to use a screwdriver. I have not found the right screw to replace them so only took 1 out.

I had the same problem, i didn't even know it was a screw until i found this forum. I thought it was solder.

Anyway, I searched and found this hack on youtube for removing 'clutch head one-way screws'.
The best tip is about 4:10 in, it involves a device called a spring-loaded center punch.
I happen to have one and found this worked.

Just to add, I found there was a lot of copper oxide on the plate, so the heat fins needed a could clean. Also, I think they used some kind of silicon glue, as something like that residue to be cleaned off the copper plate.

I also replaced the coolant with this stuff - 'XSPC XS-EC6-CL Non Conductive Coolant' , which is also supposed to be electrically non conductive.

It was relatively easy to refill with the back plate off. A syringe was used whilst jiggling the radiator to get the air out.

Those one way screws are evil. Just look at what it takes to remove them.
