The Cooler Master V650 is a high-grade PSU with ultra compact dimensions and a fully modular cabling design. It uses nothing but Japanese caps and a quality fan, and CM backs it with a pretty long warranty. The only downside so far looks to be its price.

I don't get Coolermaster's policy.
Why to build/sell a 650 PSU, if you equip it with only 1 pci-e connector?

Why anybody to choose this one over the 550watt model? will anybody need those +100watt only to power sata devices?

the number of the pci-e cables + the failure at the "Power_OK signal" test (*for me is very crucial), makes this PSU a failure in my eyes. :shadedshu:

You list ATX holdup time as 17ms minimum in this, and in past reviews you have listed it as 16ms. Why was this changed? Was there and ATX spec revision or did I just misunderstand something?

EDIT: Nvm, figured it out. The fact that it allows the ATX output to go out of spec like that while still having PWR_OK up is kinda wonky... not good at all!

I had to made a change in my hold-up time measurements. Used to measure only the power-good signal so far but with the addition of a new 4-channel scope I can measure power-good along with the actual hold-up time.
