Hi

Looking at the airflow of CM Storm Scout 2, evo 212 looks to be the better choice

i've owned both (well the 775 version of the Geminii) and i can easily say that the 212 is the better choice. Add a 2nd fan IMO and temps will be even better. I prefer the 212 dual fan setup to the Geminii 2x fan setup as the Geminii has both fans laying side by side, whereas the 212 is set up to have a push/pull type config with the airflow

I second this. I used to have a Hyper 212 with two fans for push/pull and it was a an amazing cooler for only $30 :)

Temps on my 3570k with the 212 weren't much more than H20 (see specs). An absolutely amazing cooler and mounting is pretty foolproof.

I'm a CM fan.

I love my modded V10 temps are lower than a lot of watercooling setups now

Madnoh,

It is VERY simple.

The cooler kit will come with a plastic mounting bracket for a second fan.

All you have to do is mount a second fan in a pull configuration and you will be good to go.

Unless you're going to be doing some major overclocking? you don't need the second fan :)

Madnoh,

Start slow and go from there. Read up on your motherboard and CPU and the OC capabilities.

Also, we have a section in this forum for Overclocking.

Be VERY CAREFUL not to OC your system the wrong way and burn up your CPU, motherboard etc.

looking at your system specs you have an i3 which isn't overclockable AT ALL.... you would need an i5 or an i7 (preferably a K series)

Sure it is. There's the FSB right? But very little. But the 212 is quieter then the stock one if you slow the fan

As far a a dual fan or push pull. The testing I did showed no improvement on the EVO. But it comes with an extra set of fan mounting hardware. The 212 EVO out preformed many small closed loop water coolers
