I have the coolit eliminator. Worked straight out of the box except for the tecs. Had to fiddle around with the connectors and wiring get them to work, even now the tecs just sometimes stop working!:shadedshu
Another annoying problem is the pump, a constant clicking sort of sound like somethings loose. Installation was real easy although they could of made the tubing a little longer.
Temp wise its great, e6420 @ stock fan setting on med, barely audible, 5-7°c(idle). On high which is quite loud 0-2°c, this was with room ambients of 25-30°c.
As i type now oc'd to 3.2Ghz fan on med idling at 12-15°c.
Highest temp recorded so far is 26°c while running tat for about 30mins, high fan setting.
Cant wait for my pc8500 reapers to come in and push this proc to its limits and the eliminator.
As for condensation it does happen, which is why the low setting is there. 1st day i got it i had it running on high proc @ stock, condensation didn't even enter my mind until i was browsing some forums and people were talking about it, popped my head round the pc just in time to see a droplet of water fall onto the sound card of my brand new commando mobo
, hence in the pic you can see some paper towel on my gfx card.
Since then i've had no problems with it, the fan settings also determin the temp of the tecs with low being just fine for browsing.
