Yea - I never pushed mine past 4.5GHZ since I had it in a lower end board but I was surprised to get 4.5 w/ 1.328v

ttt4u- I love my 3820. It's a nice middle ground between the performance of a 2700k and a 3770k with a little more power on multi-threaded applications (as attributed with the quad-channel memory and the extra 2Mb L3 (at 10Mb)). Despite that this chip eats a good amount of power, it will perform excellently. It's a great chip to get you into skt2011 if you think that some time in the future that 2 more cores might work out well for you.

If you plan to upgrade to Ivy-E the 3820 is the perfect choice to hold you off until 2013
