Core i7-875K or Core i5-655K Tester Needed

Do you have one of these new CPUs and do you have some software that lets you adjust the multiplier of your 875K or 655K higher from within Windows? If you do, can you check if RealTemp is working correctly now and post a screen shot or two.

You used to have to restart RealTemp to get it to update the multiplier correctly but hopefully this new version fixes that problem.

No working MB right now, probably not till the end of the week. Then have 2 875Ks I will help you test. I know newteckie and SystemViper have them, don't know how much they've toyed.

I am actually firing up my MSI Big Bang Fuzion and 875K over the next few days, i got all the parts out today, mounted the heatsink and all the other stuff, hard drive, video card, So
Tomorrow i will be loading up Vista64 and from there i can do what ever you need.,

chad from XtremeSystems sent me some initial feedback and it looks good so far.
Nice overclock too.

I still need to find out what software people are using to change the multiplier in Windows higher and if RealTemp can handle that now. Does Eleet let you change the multiplier higher? These new CPUs look like fun.

Thanks to some_one over on XS who posted this screen shot.

The new version of RealTemp looks crazy but it is accurate. This is the first CPU I've seen where the multiplier can be adjusted higher than the BCLK. :eek:
