Thats why the do it ... they know most people wont. But man they are so freaking easy.

Print rebate, print invoice, cut out UPC on box, stuff in envelope, write address, add stamp and walk to mail box... wait 6 week and get A Visa Giftcard with 20.00 on it ...
I am disabled and can do that.

(have even had some that i did not even had to send stuff in for) (discount tire, just did some from them... just login on their website and click accept ... 5 weeks later got 2x $70.00 rebates.)

I think it's more the point of going through all that crap (however easy it may be) to get a $20 gift card almost 2 months later. I'd much rather get $20 off then and there, not think "oh this really only cost me $30 instead of $50 because in two months I'll get a $20 gift card".
