I am using a Corsair Force 3 90GB on a P55 mobo with Sata II until I upgrade to a new mobo. Boot times are under 20 seconds and you will love the lightning fast access times. Transfer rates avg around 190mb/sec. Do it, you will not regret it.

what board do you have exactly?? If the Chipset supports Intel RST then you could potentially speed up your entire system (games and apps included)

If you have no plans for upgrade to SATA 6 Gb/s with that drive, the regular SATA II F60 is faster. I have both.
