Corsair is giving final touches to the mostly-white Platinum SE variants of its Hydro H100-series all-in-one liquid CPU coolers. Pictured here is the H100i Platinum SE, a variant of the original Platinum H100i Platinum launched last November. What's interesting is the level of whitewashing Corsair has done to the cooler. Not only is the radiator frame white, but also the radiator fins. The fiber-weave sheath around the coolant tubes are white, too. White also dominates the fan frames and impellers. There are some interesting contrasting black bits such as the main body of the pump-block, its crown, and the vibration dampening mounts, not to mention the included screws. Corsair is expected to launch these coolers on the 15th of February.

I'm sure Corsair will add a massive price premium for the white paint. They need to stop trying to be the Apple of the PC hardware world.

two tone is not a good look for the block, should have been white all around with black trim in limited amounts

So true, it makes no sense to use those noisy AIO water coolers, when you can buy super cheap and also absolutely silent D15.

When you review coolers such as this one, you also have to include pump noise, because pump noise is always the most annoying thing, especially from AIO water coolers.

+1 for that

i've returned for full refund three AIO's that advertised 'silence' as a feature, and had noisy pumps - because once you replace the fans or even run that at zero RPM (an official corsair feature) the pump is the only audible thing in modern PC's (PSU's and GPU's all have zero RPM idle options too)
